  1. What’s your favorite board game?: Well, I would have to go with Clue. It really gets my mind to work.
  2. Do you have a favorite name? I guess something you would name your future child?: That is a tough one. Actually I though about naming my kids after Doctor Who characters, even if it is just used as a middle name. Here is one that I think is very pretty, Lillian Rose.
  3. Apples or Oranges?: Apples, duh, its the perfect fruit to have peanut butter with!
  4. Blue or Black?: Tough one, I have more black in my wardrobe, but I have been told blue looks good on me.
  5. What’s your shoe size?: Between 5 1/2 and 7. I know large range. I have weird shaped feet, so it all depends on the style of shoe.
  6. Cats or dogs?: Ouch, I grew up with both. I am going to go with a cat that acts like a dog. I have one of those right now.
  7. Do you have a favorite number?: The age I am…21.
  8. Fingers or toes?: I am not sure I quit get this. I am going to go with fingers as I need them to write and play my instruments.

From the woods only a few yards away, he sat eager for the night to fall.

With a pair of binoculars he had swiped from a luggage bag he kept an eye on her.

She paced back and forth from dawn until desk.

And he could see that she was biting her nails to the nub.

The hours ticked by slowly and it was hard for him to wait as he already came up with a plan.

As soon as the moon was high and the sky was dark he ran towards the old bricked house.

He stopped just under her window and took a quick look up before climbing the

deep, thick, green ivy that led up to her window.

As care fully as he could he climbed to the top and gripped the window ledge with his sweaty fingers.

Pushing himself up, so that he had both of his arms on the ledge, he lightly tapped on the window.

It took a few taps before the girl in the big bed turned her pale face over.

Within moments she was at the window and had it opened.

(her kidnappers did fear her climbing out the window)

He climbed in with a little help from her and fell in a heap on the floor.

Tears streamed down his face (more out of exhaustion) and wrapped her in his arms.

She willing put her arms around him and put her head in his chest.

Tears too, fell from her face.

They were finally together, but they both feared the same thing.

For how long?

Philippines 2016

That’s right…I am going to go to the Philippines next year in February. I am greatly excited about this and can’t wait. Though I know I must as I have no choice, but to take one day at a time. I will be going with a different company this time. It is more of a medical company. https://hhmm.org/ That is their link if you would like to check it out. As for the cost, I so happened to pick the trip that cost the most. However, my first pick was to go to Guatemala, but the trip had a waiting list. I just took that as a sign that I needed to pick a different place. And I two other places to pick from. I do believe the other place was El Salvador. My heart was be tugged towards the Philippines.

Getting there is going to be the challenge and I won’t be able to do it all on my own. As a student half of my work money goes towards school, with some set aside for spending. Though, I did know I wanted to do another mission so I was saving little by little by very little. Then I got the idea of doing some really cool fundraising. I designed my own shirt. It’s only $15 and all proceeds go to me. So far I have sold one. Thanks to my boyfriend. Any additional donations of course are not going to be turned away. I understand a lot of people don’t read my blog, but I am doing my best to get the word out. http://www.booster.com/jessphilippines That is the site to my shirt sale. I picked the color out because of my little brother. Orange is his favorite shirt.

Other than this…well nothing too exciting has happened as of yet…
